At Stone Coast, our use of AI is grounded in a simple principle: technology should reinforce the timely delivery, consistency, and accountability that define strong service quality. As a financial services provider, our core responsibility remains unchanged: producing accurate financial information within a secure control environment. The opportunity AI offers is the ability to strengthen that structure– not replace it. Rather than pursuing broad automation for its own sake, we’ve focused on targeted applications that improve the day-to-day experience for both our teams and our clients.

One of the most immediate areas of impact is communication. AI-enabled routing within Bizagi improves the accuracy and timeliness of incoming requests, ensuring investor and client inquiries are directed to the right teams from the outset. This reduces delays, minimizes internal handoffs, and allows our teams to respond more quickly—with the context and ownership needed to deliver an informed and effective response.

We’re also applying AI to reduce friction in data handling. Across a range of document types, AI supports the extraction and processing of key data elements, significantly reducing manual entry and rekeying. This not only improves efficiency but also enhances data accuracy—helping eliminate inconsistencies that can arise in high-volume, detail-driven workflows. The result is more reliable data and more time for experienced professionals to focus on oversight and client service.

Data integrity across sources and documents is another critical area where AI is delivering value. By comparing third-party documentation against trusted source data, we’re able to identify discrepancies more quickly and with greater precision. This strengthens the overall reliability of our records and adds an extra layer of confidence for both internal teams and the managers we support.

What connects these use cases is a consistent approach: applying AI in ways that support—not disrupt—both the control environment and the service model. In an industry where accuracy, transparency, and trust are fundamental, technology must work within well-defined processes and alongside experienced teams. AI enhances our ability to deliver on those expectations, but it’s not the defining factor on its own.

Looking ahead, there is opportunity to continue embedding AI more thoughtfully into workflows themselves—while preserving the controls, oversight, and judgment that strong fund administration requires. As the application of this technology within the existing, time-tested toolset evolves, focuses will include generating auditable processes more quickly with natural language coding, identifying where automation can improve speed and consistency of results, and determining where human checkpoints should remain – leveraging the tool’s inherent flexibility to adjust the existence and location of those checkpoints over time.

Ultimately, the advantage isn’t AI itself, it’s how it’s integrated. When paired with stable, senior teams and a service-first operating model, it becomes a meaningful driver of better outcomes. Stronger data, more responsive service, and the ability to scale without compromising quality.
